In a week's time, I've purchased several secondhand display pieces, created and ordered business cards, formulated a real plan re: my Etsy shop, sculpted close to 50 kitty charm rings, and collected more pattern swatches.
As you know, I could (and usually do) go on and on with my ramblings. I'll give you a break, though. It's Monday, after all! Instead, enjoy a mini photo diary of my current favorites...
My cat has decided to hang out on our dryer regularly these days...which is right next to the toilet. He's always enjoyed being in the bathroom with us, but having him at eye level is somewhat disarming. But I mean, look at that face...Roland wins again.
The Sparkle Factory by Tarina Tarantino. I've been a huge fan of Tarina for close to a decade now, but didn't know this book existed, so I was happy to stumble upon it in the library while perusing for random jewelry-making books. Not only is this book so pretty and scrumptious, it also doubles as Tarantino's memoir...if you know me, you know I am all about anything autobiographical. Nerd win for sure.
Last but not least...
Turning this beat-up thrift store find...
...into a pretty ring display. I've seen this project on Pinterest countless times, and it seemed like a pretty simple DIY. Sure enough, I was able to whip it together pretty easily. Nothing a little hot glue can't upgrade, that's what I always say! In terms of ring displays, I think I'm pretty much set for my table at Hunt and Gather. Now to fill the displays up with more jewelry!
I promised no rambles and even my captions got rambly, so I am going to shut up, publish this, and go eat a Lean Pocket (because health food). Goodnight!
Xo*
